The piece
A landscape in three layers. Olive earth at the base, sky blue in the middle, a crust of yellow at the top: the glaze bubbles and cracks like lava cooled in the open air.
Two necks frame a circular opening at the centre. Graphic, a little strange, unmistakably made by hand.
Details
- Finish: layered lava glaze, olive, sky blue and yellow
- Form: double neck, open centre
- Use: two stems, or empty, as a sculpture.
Delivery
On orders over 100€, shipping and import duties are on us, wherever you are: no extra charge on delivery. Each piece is packed by hand in our workshop, insured and tracked to your door.
The craft
Made by hand by Moroccan artisans. Variations in tone, texture and form are part of the work: no two pieces are exactly alike.
The making
Shaped by hand, slowly.
Every Casarin object starts with a material and a gesture passed down for generations. Clay is shaped and fired, glazes are poured by hand, surfaces are left alive. What you receive is one of a kind.
